Do you have a Veterans Administration health-care facility near  you?  Would you like a ham-radio station there, developed for your mutual benefit?  Duke Winsor, AE5TJ, has experience on the  “outside” of such a facility.  Rick Hernandez has experience on  the “inside,” as an employee of a VA hospital.  In this presentation, we hope to help others understand how they might be able to make this work at a facility near them.  Duke will describe the development of N5VA, and Rick will present the viewpoint of the Hospital, where Ham radio is especially valuable in an emergency.
